  • Best Tablet for Gamers – If you enjoy playing games on your tablet, you’re going to want to get the new iPad Air. The light weight and brilliant screen are nice, but the big thing you’re going to like is all the games in the Apple App Store. From free games to those that cost a few bucks, there’s something for everyone.

  • Best Tablet for Students – The best tablet for students right now – in high school or even college – is the Surface 2. The main reason is that you can get a detachable keyboard that makes taking notes a LOT easier. It’s also durable and will hold up over many semesters if taken care of correctly.

  • Best Tablet for the Technologically Challenged – Let’s face it, some people just don’t understand the beauty of having a tablet. That being said, for those of you who want to help you less savvy friends, we recommend that you give them an iPad Mini. Many enjoy the smaller size and the ease of use of iOS.

  • Best Tablet for Movie or Book Lovers – For those who like to watch a lot of television or movies, the Kindle Fire HDX is going to be the winner. With millions of more pixels than the iPad Air, it’s a pleasure to stare at the screen for an entire movie or series of television shows.

Using the list above, there’s a very good chance you’ll find the perfect tablet computer for your needs – at work and at home. Having a tablet that will handle work tasks but is also good at games and social media networking is a must. The good news is there are a lot of great options no matter what you want and need. 1. Yikes for someone that boasts having reliable information this article has NO bases in TRUE information. The iPad Air is FAR from the best or a decent Gamer Tablet, and the same with the Kindle HDX for movies and books. The only part that is somewhat reality-based is the mention of the Surface 2. I seriously hope people do some research for themselves and don’t just take this opinion piece as fact. ROFLMAO!!!

    • Yikes. Look at this fanboy. This is all obviously opinion, but I don’t know anyone who doesnt think think the Kindle is the best tablet for books. Do you own stock in the Nook or something?

      • How can one call me a fanboy when my comment clearly shows NO side chosen. LOL. Actually there are much better eReaders besides Nook OR Kindle. Sorry, I don’t feed the trolls. Take care.

  2. This type of articles are based on user experience. If @andrew you did not agree, this means you have better experience with other tablets(opposite of the writer). Well, I only use the tablet for gaming and mostly use ipad (I do not have any other tablet lol.). People will go back to the desktop environment (Everything goes back to its original).
